The Black Cup strives to brew the perfect cup of coffee and to be a good neighbor to its customers, suppliers and the environment. Our coffee is organic, fair trade, non-GMO and from sustainable farming that cares not only for the people involved in providing food and drink but also the earth and its creatures. This is a goal we strive for in everything we do, even down to our cups, lids, plates, straws and napkins, which are eco-friendly.
Our bagels from Silver Hills Bakery, are made of 100% organic, sprouted grains, have no preservatives and are packed with fiber, flavor and other good things.
Our sauces and syrups are from Monin and Joe's Organic Syrups. We chose them for their quality and purity with few, if any, artificial flavors, dyes or preservatives. We appreciate that Monin gives excess product to beekeepers for their bees. Our Monin based Smoothies have no artificial flavors, preservatives or dyes. Joe's Organic Syrups are produced here in the beautiful Pacific Northwest.
For those who don't like coffee or wish to avoid caffeine, we have Vanilla Nut Tisane or brewed cocoa. Vanilla Nut Tisane is 75% organic. Our brewed cocoa is organic, fair trade and gluten free. Any coffee drink can be made with either Vanilla Nut Tisane or cocoa beans.
Our atmosphere is warm and friendly with free WiFi for our customers. We have indoor and outdoor seating (weather permitting) and classical and Celtic music for a productive, enriching work or study environment. Check our events calendar for upcoming art exhibits, music, and TV sporting events, especially hockey.
We love to work with local artists—professionals and students alike—so if you wish to display your art on our walls, call 509-240-8065 or email us.
