Ebola Is a Humanitarian Crisis Says Discoverer

The person who discovered Ebola in 1976 states that it is now far worse than when he named it. Belgium Professor Peter Piot notes that until now outbreaks of the disease have been localized and short-lived. This time the outbreak is neither. Many factors contributed to making this Ebola outbreak a humanitarian crisis including civil wars in the affected areas, poor public health systems, lack of physicians, people being more mobile and outbreaks occurring in more populated areas.
